Anti-Gravity, 2015

This series of paintings explores a notion of resistance to gravity through leisure and travel. Through mobility on airplanes, paddleboards and sailboats, figures seek a state of weightlessness and levity.

This series was presented by Coldstream Fine Art in Toronto, Canada in a solo exhibition in 2015. Some works were also exhibited during the same year at Evergreen Brickworks, Toronto, in a solo exhibition called Majestic Havens, alongside video installation Talking Treaties by Jumblies Theatre.
